Wanganui Band Rotunda –Virginia Lake
This Iconic structure is nestled on a hill overlooking Virginia Lake, Wanganui. In it’s hay day bands would play from here for people to enjoy and ice creams were sold from below the band stand. It is a lovely place to sit and view the lake. Because of the simplicity of the structure I felt it needed to be enhanced simply by classic finishes highlighting the clean lines and allowing the structure to speak for itself.
